if you don’t change the relationship you have with yourself and your subconscious and your mind, it’s all ‘for now.’.. you’re basically becoming the best version of your limited self” - Peter Crone

Often called the "Mindset Architect”, Peter Crone talks about spiritual freedom. He's not woo-woo and "deals with physics, not opinions."

If you've seen the Heal documentary or The Goop Lab on Netflix, you're familiar with Peter Crone. "Peter works with everyone from world-class athletes to stay-at-home parents to redesign the subconscious mind. Peter is a writer, speaker, and thought leader in human awakening and potential."

This podcast is lengthy, but they keep it moving, jumping right in without any ads, fluff, or filler. For that, they earn extra points.

Podcast description: "In this episode, Dhru and Peter discuss how our own perceptions and self-limiting beliefs shape our reality, and how to find freedom from a self-imposed mental jail cell. They talk about how to redesign the subconscious mind that drives behavior to inspire a new way of living, from limitation and stress to freedom and joy. They also talk about how the challenges that we experience in our lives are an opportunity to grow, and to be patient, trusting, loving, accepting, and understand that it all works out. We are beneficiaries of life, not victims of it."

you don't have a control issue; that's a behavioral adaptation to a fear.” - Peter Crone

(5:29) Peter: "I was just at a bio-hacking conference, and the technology now that's out there to improve ourselves physically it's really inspiring, but if you don't change the relationship you have with yourself and your subconscious and your mind, it's all 'for now.' Like at best, you're going to get transitory relief, or as I tell my clients, 'you're basically becoming the best version of your limited self.'"

(29:25) Peter: "Everyone's got an opinion, but it's usually a reflection of their own sense of insecurity...Which means right now, at this moment, they are the compilation of everything that's occurred in their life. So, for me to think they could act differently, it doesn't even make sense."

(31:53) Peter: "When we're looking at another, and we look at what they've been through, everybody's got their trials and tribulations, everyone's carrying their version of their cross, right? And so, for me, that really inspires kindness, acceptance, patience, and love, and compassion…I love my life means I'm accepting it."

(34:10) Peter: "Acceptance and commitment. I am totally at peace with what is, whilst remaining fully committed to living an extraordinary life."

(48:15) Peter: "Most people live in their head…what I'm much more interested in people understanding is the insidious sort of subtle trauma that's happening every day beneath the surface. Which is that should, need to, have to, the judgment energy, the resistance energy. Now it's so subtle that it becomes normal for people… because we are so used to it, cause it's every day, it's slowly accumulating over time, creating from dis-ease, disease in our body. That's what I want people to wake up to is that they're constantly trying to manage circumstance and control. When people have control issues, I'm like, 'you don't have a control issue; that's a behavioral adaptation to a fear.' If you address the fear, there's the absence of trust, you're not allowing life to try and support you, you're in this state of constantly being vigilant to manage everything, which is exhausting. Then you're wondering why you're physiology is falling apart, your relationship isn't thriving, you're not earning as much as you could be, because you're too busy just literally, literally trying to survive. But that's an everyday occurrence for people."
